At the World Cup itself, Max used a very significantly modified fan to fit it under the body. After numerous tests and further versions, a solution was found that required little to no modifications. The fan was placed further forward and mounted more steeply on the holder. The key to success in getting the airflow where it needs to go are the small side covers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The result of using this holder together with a 30mm fan at 6.0V voltage is a significantly reduced motor temperature.\u003cbr\u003e Depending on the track layout and grip conditions, this construction reduces the temperature by 12-18°C.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The MXLR fan holder is 3D printed - made of a very durable material that is able to absorb shocks up to a certain point.\u003cbr\u003e The tests did not reveal any defects during departures. In the end, however, it remains a 3D printed part with the appropriate sensitivity - there is still a risk of breakage during departure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The goal was to construct the holder as light and at the same time resilient as possible. Without the fan and screws, the part only weighs 2.6g. The use of M3x12mm aluminum screws is recommended (not included, but available from RCK) - in conjunction with a 30mm fan (also not included).\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e TIP: Do not overtighten the screws. It's just plastic!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The total weight when fully assembled is approx. 12g - depending on the fan used.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Longer screws (M3x12mm, not included) are required for mounting on the side carbon plates.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Depending on the battery used and the shims underneath the plates, additional shims may be required (not included) to adjust the height of the fan holder.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The OR230 O-ring may no longer be needed to hold the battery in place as the fan holder itself holds the battery in place.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Depending on the mounting position and the height of the body used, the fan should be able to run freely and not touch the polycarbonate.\u003cbr\u003e In tests with the most commonly used bodies (AMR, Ponente, M20), it was only necessary to slightly sand away the corners of the fan on the M20 to make room.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e With GT bodies there shouldn't be any space problems at all.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e MAX-09-019 contains:\u003cbr\u003e 1x fan holder for Awesomatix A12\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003cstrong\u003eA notice:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Please don't forget that this product is a product from a 3D printer.
